"21" singer and Grammy winnerAdelehas always had an empowered attitude about her weight, but do you think the singer will take the money and run?
Whitney Thompson, founder of plus-sizeonline datingsite TheBigAndTheBeautiful.com (andAmerica's Next Top Modelwinner!) has tapped Adele to endorse the service.Which, regardless of whether Adele accepts, was a savvy move--because now Thompson and her site have been splashed across the blogosphere.
Thompson says of Adele,"[She] is a ridiculously talented bombshell.I would be proud to work alongside her to continue to show the world what curvy girls are made of."
This reminds me of my predecessor Rosemary's question,"Would you appear as an online dating success story?",albeit with slightly higher stakes for someone as famous as Adele.Considering she has downplayed her weight in public forums by saying things like "Music is for the ears, not for the eyes," I doubt she would want to draw additional attention to it.But on the other hand,it would establish even more how proud she was of being plus-size.
Personally,I hope she turns it down, but what do you guys think?Would you respect Adele more or less for taking the deal?
