Katy Perryhas had a busy quarantine promoting her new single, “Daisies,” appearing as a judge onAmerican Idol, and balancing her relationship with fiancéOrlando Bloomwhile pregnant with their first child together.
And she hasn’t been afraid to share the ups and downs that come with isolating with your partner. During a video interview with Sirius Hits 1 on May 16, she talked about what she’s learned about Bloom during this time. “Well, what I have actually learned, some of the positives, because he’s seen it all, and God bless him, he’s still here, which is amazing and commendable,” Perry said. “Because I have definitely tested him and been like, ‘Oh yeah? You think you can handle me? Let’s see it!’”
The singerwent on to talk aboutBloom’s excellent Lego skills and how she’s realized he’s a lot more handy than she thought. They apparently converted a TV room into a Lego room, where his complex projects now hang on the walls. “There are Legos everywhere, and he’ll just get a little pour of a rye whiskey and he’ll sit down and he’ll do his Legos for like four and a half, five hours if he wants to at night,” she said. “He’ll literally come out with like a James Bond car or a Porsche or something dope. And now this had led him to looking at maybe building his own car.”
Earlier, Katy Perry revealed Orlando Bloom has been giving her plenty of space. “He’s being very sensitive knowing that we’re not only in quarantine, but we’re doing it while pregnant,” shetoldCosmopolitanin aninterview. “He’s also doing a lot of pro-style cycling for a couple hours a day, so that gives me my space.”
You have to give this couple props for continuing to be so open and transparent about everything!
