International Women's Daywas first started in 1910 at the International Conference of Working Women and first celebrated in 1911 with rallies campaigning for women's rights to work,vote,and hold public office.Since its birth as part of a movement focused on voting and workers' rights,the day has evolved into one of recognition and celebration of women in general.It's a great time to reflect on how far we've come and how far we still need to go!
