Thinking of heart health this month--February isAmerican Heart Month--I wanted to suggest a snack with pomegranate,because,as you may know,the vibrant fruit is heart healthy.Past researchhas linked the antioxidants in pomegranates to healthy arteries and hearts.(Check out thesesix heart-healthy super foods!)
Of course,you can eat this fab fruit as is (or in a smoothie--try this one!),but I like the idea of sprinkling the seeds on yogurt,along with pistachios,which also have someheart healthy propertiesto boast about.
